In this function, he is responsible for the coordination of all ZVEI European affairs and the management of the ZVEI European Office in Brussels. He started his career as an Assistant and later Associate Professor at the Institute of Computer Science of the Warsaw University of Technology (1979-1991). In the late 80s he worked as a Visiting Researcher and Consultant at FreeForm Design AB – a Swedish IT enterprise. Between 1991-1997 he was a Deputy Director of a Software Department and then a Vice President at Inter-Design Tessel Systems – a Polish-Swedish company specializing in CAD software.
In 1997 he founded Globema, which over the years has become one of the leading suppliers of geospatial IT solutions and services on the CEE markets. In 2005 Marek Gondzio received INFO-STAR (a recognition and award of the Polish IT industry) for ‘Business Achievements’. Marek Gondzio graduated cum laude from Warsaw University of Technology. Jussi is citizen of Finland and graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology in Finland. He has been with ABB almost 20 years, holding several management positions in product development, product management, sales and business development, and general management in Finland, the USA, Australia and Poland. Since April 1st 2016 Wojciech Kamieniecki has been appointed as the Head of NASK by the Minister of Digital Affairs. He has been working at NASK since 2015 as the ICT Director. Wojciech Kamieniecki graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology (1981). He also completed the doctor studies in the Economics and Management at the University of Szczecin. He took a Ph.D. degree in economic sciences in June 2017. He has long experience in running enterprises and managing large projects in telecommunications, among others he was the General Director of Multimedia Polska S.A., the CEO of Nordisk Polska, Director of the TETRA Project at EXATEL S.A, and recently the General Director of the “Internet for Mazovia” project that aims to build the broadband backbone network in this region. In November 2013 Wojciech Kamieniecki established the cooperation with the CEE Equity Partners (PE) in evaluation of projects connected with the construction of regional broadband networks and last mile. Since 2014 he has been the President of the Supervisory Board at Mielec PV S.A., the company that is focused on solar energy power plant development and construction. Since 1995, CEO at Transition Technologies SA (Currently Transition Technologies Capital Group), where in practice he realizes his interests related to information technology, automation and R&D. Besides the world’s first use of artificial immune systems to optimize industrial processes, he has to his credit a number of other Polish and European patents, as well as dozens of implementations in the United States, Asia and Europe. One of the solutions that Konrad Świrski has developed is the patented system SILO- energy process optimizer using artificial immune system. The research co-authored by Konrad Świrski are focused on applying of artificial intelligence algorithms. After first successful tests in which artificial neural networks have been used, a unique method using artificial immune systems was finally applied. These new artificial immune systems, similar to the human immune system opened up new opportunities for regulate and optimize energy processes. Thanks to this unique technology, it becomes possible to significantly improve the optimal regulation of a nonlinear process with dozens of control variables. The method applied for the first time in the world has produced documented results (implementation on many facilities in Poland and abroad) – usually in the form of efficiency improvement within the range of 0.2 – 0.8% and reduction of NOx emissions within the range of 10-30%.  System SILO has been presented during EXPO 2017 in Astana (Kazakhstan) as a part of Best Energy Practices Pavilion

Before Mr. Fallacher became the CEO of Orange Polska, he was the general director of Orange in Romania – a leading mobile service provider on that market. Previously, for 20 years he had key functions in Orange group, among others, as president of Sofrecom, a consulting company at Orange Group, and in the Netherlands, as chief operating officer of the company Wanadoo, ISP.

Malte is Director General of Orgalime, the European Engineering Industries Association. He is responsible for setting Orgalime’s strategy, acting as the senior representative of the industry in Brussels and managing the operations of the association. Malte joined Orgalime from for Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s leading brewer, where most recently he was Head of Corporate Affairs for Europe with responsibility for government relations, corporate social responsibility and external communications across AB InBev’s European business (EU, Russia and Ukraine). He also represented AB InBev on the Executive Committee of the Brewers of Europe, the beer industry’s European association, and served as Vice Chair of the Brewers of Europe Alcohol Policy Committee. Before starting in his European role, Malte was AB InBev’s Global Corporate Affairs Director.Prior to joining AB InBev in 2014, Malte was Public Affairs Director at the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), the global umbrella body representing brand marketers across all industries. He has also worked at Interel, one of Brussels’ leading public affairs agencies, and in the European Parliament. Malte has held numerous voluntary leadership positions, including his current role of President of the Society of European Affairs Professionals (SEAP), which represents the interests of the public affairs community in Brussels. He served as Vice Chair or the European Digital Advertising Alliance and as Chairman of the European Parliament Trainees Association. Malte obtained his BA in philosophy and economics at the LSE and went on to complete an MSc in political science at LSE. In 2016, he took part in a corporate MBA programme at AB InBev. A Brussels native, Malte is fluent in English, French and German. He lives in Brussels with his partner and two young boys.

On 9 January 2018, Jadwiga Emilewicz was appointed Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology. She is responsible for activities conducive to the growth of competitiveness and innovativeness of Polish economy and business. On 27 November 2015, Jadwiga Emilewicz was appointed Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development. In 1999-2002, she worked in the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister. In 2009, she was appointed the Head of the PRL (the People’s Republic of Poland) Museum in Krakow. She is a councillor of the Małopolska Regional Assembly and the Chairperson of the Innovation and New Technology Committee. She is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Jadwiga Emilewicz started working on her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of International and Political Studies, the Jagiellonian University. She was a scholar of the Oxford University and the American Council on Germany, Dräger Foundation, ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius. Since 2003, she has been collaborating with the Tischner European University in Krakow. Jadwiga Emilewicz is a social activist and the author of numerous scientific publications. Martin Mellor is a telecommunications professional with 23 years’ experience. Martin started his career in telecommunications with Marconi where he was Engineering Manager for switching products. On joining Ericsson in 2006 he led the Broadband Access product area followed by various  sales engagement roles in Europe and more recently he has been the Head of Engagement Practices for Central Europe. An IT manager with many years of experience in managing digital-oriented organizations. The creator and, in 2008-2012, the first general manager of the National Digital Archive (NAC). Afterwards, for four years he ran the Center for Informatics Technology (COI), which he transformed into a state-run digital competence center. Under his supervision COI independently constructed the National Registry System and a properly secured server facility – the Integrated Registry Infrastructure. His managerial activities in the IT industry are focused on ensuring national sovereignty in the digital world and building the common wealth with the use of digital tools. He formulated the idea of “state as a service provider”. Under his supervision, a series of solutions were developed aiming directly at citizens, including websites providing a dozen million digitized documents and old photographs, e-services platform OBYWATEL.GOV.PL, and also e-services historiapojazdu.gov.pl and bezpiecznyautobus.gov.pl. The community of Polish IT managers awarded him the prestigious title of “Chief Information Officer of the Year 2015”.

Roland Werner is the Head of Government Affairs & Policy Dach (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Central Eastern Europe at Uber. Roland started his career as Head of Office of MP Guido Westerwelle, later to be German Foreign Minister. Following positions included leadership of the respective offices in the Personal assistant and Speaker of the group chairman Wolfgang Gerhardt in the Committee of the FDP in the German Bundestag as well as Managing Director of the Committee of the FDP in the Saxonian State Parliament. After four years as consultant for McKinsey he joined Siemens in 1996 as Head of Gasturbine Engineering at “Power Generation”. During his career within Siemens he had different responsibilities: personal Assistant for an Executive Board Member, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Division “Industry Solutions” and Vice President “Advanced Technologies & Standards (ATS)” for Industry Sector. Today he is Head of External Cooperation at Siemens Corporate Technology.
